There are a number of recording artists planning to release singles to benefit the people of Haiti on the road to recovery from the disaster that hit last week (and the residual after-shock today). Among such artists, two powerhouses have come together to release a single with proceeds benefitting rescue and rebuild efforts - U2 and Jay-Z have just completed writing and recording a tune, although a release date has yet to be announced. In addition to the recording, the masters of the music world will also be performing from London as part of George Clooney’s telethon, which is being televised across multiple channels on Friday, 1/22, 8pm -10pm.
